Christmas Boutique at the Halau

November, 2008 Gretchen, Robert, I and Kieran, sold some goods at our Halau Christmas boutique. Mary Kay for Gretchen. Robert sold his walking sticks, I sold my gourd purses and Kieran made some bookmarks from flowers she had dried. It was a fun day.

Really it has been 2 years, ouch!

November, 2008. We took our first family vacation out of state. Many of you do not know that Robert went in for a vas-reversal. Instead of having it done in California, we found a wonderful doctor in Oklahoma that performs them for his ministry. His story is amazing. It cost us the same to take a family vacation and go to Oklahoma as it would to have it done in California, so off we went. We saw the Grand Canyon (which was first for me), the girls were amazed. They were amazed by all the landscape changes we went through. We visited family in New Mexico to and from Oklahoma. Thanks, Aunt Sally, for the accomodations. We stayed in Oklahoma a few days. The surgery went really well. A day later we headed back to New Mexico, where we went to zoo and the aquarium. It was great trip, so much fun! I guess you are probably wondering what has happened. I did have a miscarriage the first month after the surgery and nothing so far. We are leaving that up to God.

I know it has been a very very long time . . . .

Vacation Bible School (a little late)

We lost Sparky

Another devastating blow, we lost our family pet, Sparky. He was 16 1/2 years old. It was a very hard day, this is the first pet the girls lost, in which they understood what was happening. We miss him and all his sass!
